How to "Fix" - "Error connecting to server" in Traveler 8.5.1

Excellent post Mathew even if it was 12 months ago. I would like to add a couple more keywords as I did not find your post easily.

Initially try testing traveler by using a browser instead of a phone. If you get the following errors:
On the Domino console:
"sync session does not exist for this user"
and also
"error on opening database path"
Returned to the user's browser:
"the lotus notes traveler server encountered an internal error validating your user id"
Refer to Mathews post (above)for solution.
